Toyota Glanza is the rebadged Maruti Baleno. Toyota Glanza is the first joint product of Toyota and Suzuki agreement

Toyota has recently launched  first look of its upcoming hatchback model Toyota glanza. Toyota glanza is a joint venture product of Toyota and Maruti suzuk .Toyota Glanza will be launched by 6th june 2019.  Maruti Baleno in form of Toyota will known as Glanza. All the features and design will be almost same as Maruti baleno except engine and front grille design. Toyota Glanza price is expected to set from 6.0 Lakh onward.

In first preview look of Toyota glanza,  we can see that it is a rebadged maruti balano. The allow wheel design, small antenna position ,Rear head lamp  design is the same as maruti Baleno. Toyota glanza will only available with BS6 1.2 L Petrol engine and it could get the new BS 6 1.2 Litre dual jet petrol motor with mild hybrid technology which makes Glanza more powerful and fuel efficient than maruti baleno.

In term of transmission, hopefully Toyota glanza will get 5 speed manual and  CVT option in variants. The glanza will get tilt and telescopic steering, steering mounted audio control, electrically retractable ORVMs, Front seat armrest with storage, push start stop button, UV cut glass and  the almost same premier interior and comfort features as available in Alpha variant of Maruti Baleno.

In term of safety features, Toyota glanza will get all the standard safety feature which are available in Maruti Baleno i.e. front disc brake, ABS with EBD, dual air bags, high speed warning, rear parking camera with sensors, rear washer etc.

So if we look at Toyota glanza , toyota and suzuki do not make any big change with respect to Maruti baleno expect engine and front grille. However company has not revealed the complete specification and features  as well.
