Honda Amaze scores 4 stars in Globle NCAP crash test

Global NCAP certified the vehicle  Safety based upon Crash test.

Recently Global NCAP crash test results have been revealed for made in India Honda Amaze car for Africa market. Global NCAP’s serves as a platform for co-operation among new car assessment program worldwide and promotes the universal adoption of the United nation’s most important motor vehicle safety standards worldwide.

The Honda Amaze was tested at NCAP for safer cars of Africa campaign. As per NCAP standard , Cars are crashed into deform-able barrier with 40 percent offset at speed of 64 kmph. In this test , the base spec version of Honda Amaze with dual airbag was used for test.

The Honda Amaze acquired a impressive score of 4 star for adult occupant protection under the test. In adult occupant protection max safety rating is 17 and the Amaze secured safety rating at 14.8. But in term of child occupant protection which have max 49 safety rating , the Amaze acquired only one star rating with 8.16 under the test.

Global NCAP is working with a vision with world free from road fatalities and serious injuries. The objective will only be acquired when automotive manufacturers will develop car models with standard safety features.
