What’s New in Hyundai i20 new model 2023

The sporty i20 N Line facelift, like the original hatchback, receives only minor visual changes. The main difference is that the 6-speed iMT gearbox has been replaced with a 6-speed manual unit. The i20 N Line retains the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which delivers 120hp and 172Nm of torque. Notably, the N Line is the only variation that now has the turbo-petrol engine, as Hyundai dropped it from the i20 with the facelift.

Aside from the aforementioned 6-speed manual, the i20 N Line retains the 7-speed DCT. The i20 N Line, like the pre-facelift car, has a sharper exhaust note and suspension configuration, as well as rear disc brakes over the normal hatchback.

Exterior Design

In terms of design, the pre-facelift model retains the same front bumper with a parametric grille design and a N Line emblem, as well as a large front splitter with red accents. It gets a mildly modified bumper design at the back with a large diffuser, red accents, twin exhaust outlets, a tail gate spoiler, and a dark chrome garnish joining the two tail-lamps.

The new features include full-LED headlamps (the pre-facelift model had LED projectors) and a new look for the 16-inch alloy wheels. The i20 N Line facelift comes with six single-tone paint options, with dual-tone options available for an additional fee.

Interior Design

The i20 N Line has the same dashboard as the ordinary car, but it has subtle red highlights and N line badging on the seats and steering wheel. It also has red ambient lighting, metal pedal finishes and a N Line steering wheel and gear lever.

The standard features are the same as those found in the top-spec i20: a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and OTA updates, a digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charging, cruise control, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, and a 7-speaker Bose sound system.

Six airbags, three-point seatbelts with seatbelt reminders for all passengers, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a reverse camera, automatic headlights, electronic stability control (ESC), and hill assist control are among the safety features.

Rival of New i20 New model 2023

With the cancellation of the Polo GT TSI, the i20 N Line no longer has a direct competitor. The Altroz iTurbo with a turbo-petrol engine is the closest competitor. However, unlike the i20 N Line, the iTurbo does not receive a modified exhaust or suspension tune.
