What’s New with Tata Punch CNG? The all-new Punch CNG, which debuted at the 2023 Auto Expo, is now available in five trim levels: Pure, Adventure, Adventure Rhythm, Accomplished, and Accomplished Dazzle S. These variations cost between Rs 7.10 lakh and Rs 9.68 lakh, which is around Rs 95,000 to Rs 1.60 lakh more than their petrol-powered equivalents.

All Punch CNG variants are powered by a 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 86 PS and 113 Nm of torque in petrol mode and 73.4 PS and 103 Nm of torque in CNG mode. The Punch CNG is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and twin 60-litre CNG tanks.

The more expensive Accomplished Punch CNG variants also get a single-pane sunroof, which is not available in the petrol version. Other features shared with the petrol edition include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch TFT in the instrument console, automatic climate control, projector headlights, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The Hyundai Exter CNG competes directly with the Punch CNG.

Tata Motors has also revised the CNG variants of the Tiago and Tigor, which are now equipped with the same twin-cylinder technology for storing CNG as seen in the Altroz CNG and Punch CNG. The new Tiago CNG costs between Rs 6.55 lakh and Rs 8.10 lakh, while the new Tigor CNG costs between Rs 7.80 lakh and Rs 8.95 lakh. Tata Motors has raised the cost of all Tiago and Tigor CNG models by Rs 5,000.

The Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG now have twin CNG tanks beneath the boot compartment, making their boot compartments more practical and user-friendly. Previously, these vehicles featured traditional CNG tanks, which limited boot room. Tiago CNG and Tigor CNG use the same CNG powerplant, which is based on the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine seen in the Altroz CNG and Punch CNG. The Hyundai Grand i10 CNG, Maruti Suzuki WagonR CNG, and Celerio CNG will compete with the Tiago CNG, while the Tigor CNG will fight with the Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG and Hyundai Aura CNG.
