Volkswagen has announced that their all-electric ID Buzz bus will be available in India in 2024. The ID Buzz is a retro-styled van built on VW’s MEB electric chassis. It will be offered in both passenger and freight configurations.

The ID Buzz will be powered by a 77kWh battery pack that can provide up to 340 miles of range on a single charge. It will be powered by a single electric motor with 201 horsepower and 229 pound-feet of torque. The ID Buzz can reach 60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds.
A 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, and a panoramic sunroof will be standard on the ID Buzz. It will also have driver assistance features like as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.
Volkswagen has not yet released the ID Buzz’s price in India. It is, however, intended to be priced competitively with other electric vehicles on the market. When it is released in 2024, the ID Buzz will be a prominent player in the Indian electric car market.
The ID Buzz is a sleek and functional electric bus that will appeal to a wide variety of Indian buyers. It also demonstrates Volkswagen’s commitment to the Indian electric vehicle sector. Volkswagen hopes to make a huge effect in the Indian market with the ID Buzz and help speed the adoption of electric vehicles.
