The business has also stated that the upcoming Hyundai Exter will be available with a variety of powertrain options. The first choice will be based on the Grand i10 Nios, the brand’s popular hatchback, and will have the 1.2L Kappa Petrol engine, which is now E20 Fuel Ready. It will be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission (5MT) or Smart Auto AMT (Automated Manual Transmission), according to the firm. The power outputs for this engine and the other two alternatives have not been published by the manufacturer, but it is safe to anticipate that they will be approximately 83 PS and 113.8 Nm.

A 1.2L Bi-fuel Kappa petrol with CNG will be the alternative engine option. This powerplant is expected to provide roughly 69 PS of maximum power and 95.2 Nm of torque. Furthermore, the business stated that this powertrain will be available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

According to the images given by the firm, the Exter would have the brand’s signature parametric front grille and split headlight design to tie the model to its existing SUV range offered in India. The H-Signature LED DRLs, projector headlamps, and sporty skid plate will also be included on the Exter, as well as a unique EXTER symbol on the front.

The SUV will also get diamond-cut alloy wheels enclosed in blacked-out wheel arches and side sill panelling on the flanks. The Hyundai Exter also has a floating roof, which is complemented by a parametric design C-Pillar garnish and sporty bridge-type roof rails.
