Features in Maruti Fronx

Of late, Maruti has been offering class-leading features in its cars. The trend started with the introduction of the new Baleno in February 2022. It continues with the new Maruti Fronx.

The Maruti Suzuki Fronx comes with features like LED multi-reflector headlamps with LED DRLs, automatic headlamps, LED rear combination lamps, shark fin antenna and 16-inch alloy wheels. The bells and whistles in the cabin are quite similar to what we see in the Baleno, like a 9-inch HD Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, Arkamys surround sound system, automatic climate control, head-up display with turn-by-turn navigation, 360-degree view camera and wireless charger.

Six airbags, three-point ELR seatbelts, ESP with hill-hold aid and rollover mitigation, ABS with EBD and braking help, and Isofix child seat mounts are included in the SUV’s heartect platform.

“The sporty compact SUV Fronx was created to respond to changing customer demands and is aimed at young trailblazers who want to stand out with their unique choices.” We are confident that the Fronx will enamour customers with its new-age appeal and help us achieve leadership in the SUV segment in the country. The appreciation it has received from customers and critics is a testament to this faith,” said Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India.

“The Fronx is a combination of two words – Frontier Next – that describe a vehicle that is trendy, modern, has the latest features, and has a catchy name.” Based on Nexa’s ‘Crafted Futurism’ design philosophy, the Fronx has been conceptualised and created with a unique aerodynamic silhouette for newage buyers looking for an attractive and innovative car with powerful road presence. “Fronx also has a 1.0L Turbo Boosterjet engine that delivers exhilarating acceleration from 0-60kmph in 5.3 seconds,” stated C V Raman, Chief Technical Officer, Maruti Suzuki India.

Maruti is attempting to strengthen its SUV portfolio in order to regain a 50% market share. In such a case, the Fronx becomes extremely important. It will join the company’s SUV lineup, which also includes the Brezza and the Grand Vitara. Jimny will be introduced soon by the corporation as well.
