Jeep India unveils game-changing Meridian X and Meridian Upland SUVs with stunning new features and unbeatable pricing starting at just Rs 33.41 lakh

Jeep India has introduced two special editions of the Meridian three-row SUV. While no detailed pricing information is provided, Jeep India claims that prices for both special editions start at Rs 33.41 lakh and go up to Rs 38.47 lakh (ex-showroom), depending on the accessory packs chosen by the buyer.

What’s new features in the Jeep Meridian X and Meridan Upland?

The Jeep Meridian X and Meridian Upland get more body-colored accents, alloy wheels with grey inserts, and a contrasting grey roof. There are two paint colours available: Silvery Moon and Galaxy Blue.

The Jeep Meridian X and Meridian Upland receive new ambient lighting shades and puddle lamps, as well as a rear entertainment package with a WiFi-enabled 11.6-inch screen. On the Meridian X and Meridian Upland, this accessory is available at a 50% discount. A roof carrier, side steps, sunshades, a tyre inflator, and unique hood decals are also included in the standard package.

Engine and Transmission in New Jeep Meridian X and Meridan Upland

Both SUVs are powered by the same 2.0-litre MultiJet diesel engine producing 168hp and mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Jeep Meridian X and Meridian Upland have no other mechanical changes.

Jeep, like the Compass, manufactures the Meridian in India for both domestic and export sales. In India, the SUV faces stiff competition from the more popular Toyota Fortuner and, to a lesser extent, the MG Gloster. Jeep appears to be aiming to keep the momentum going with the Meridian X and Meridian Upland special editions, as the brand has no new SUV launches planned in the near future.
