Breaking News: Nissan Magnite Prices Skyrocket After Latest Powertrain Upgrade and Exciting New Features
Nissan India has raised the price of the Nissan Magnite SUV by Rs 8,000, but the 2023 model still offers a range of trim levels from Rs 6.00 lakh to Rs 11.02 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The updated 2023 Nissan Magnite now features RDE and BS6 Phase 2 compliant engines, as well as vehicle dynamic control, TPMS, TC, and hill start assist. However, some features have been reduced to keep prices competitive, such as LED foglights only being available on the top-spec trim.

When it comes to the updated 2023 Nissan Magnite, the SUV now has new RDE and BS6 Phase 2 compliant engines. Furthermore, the updated SUV now includes features such as vehicle dynamic control, TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System), TC (Traction Control), and hill start assist.
To keep prices competitive, Nissan India has reduced some features on the updated Magnite SUV. As a result, LED foglights are now available only on the top-spec trim level of the Japanese SUV. Furthermore, the XL trim has lost two tweeters as well as the rear parcel shelf.
Powertrain of Nissan Magnite
In terms of specifications, the Nissan Magnite SUV retains two engine options. The base engine is a naturally aspirated 1.0-litre petrol engine with 72bhp and 96Nm of torque. This engine is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, on the other hand, produces 98.6bhp and 152Nm of torque. This powertrain is available with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT transmission. It is worth noting that the torque output is increased to 160Nm in the CVT gearbox variant.
Nissan Magnite has changed the game in India for the Japanese automaker. Despite the price increase, the Nissan Magnite now has even more features and a better value proposition.
