Mercedes-Benz has recently announced that it will launch the Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance sedan in India on April 11.

The Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the most powerful production AMG Car at the moment. The introduction of this sedan is expected to expand the country’s portfolio of AMG models.

The Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance sedan is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine and an electric motor inspired by Formula 1. The Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance’s hybrid powertrain is tuned to produce 834.5bhp and 1,400Nm of torque.

In terms of power, the 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, V8 engine produces 632.6bhp, while the electric motor produces around 202bhp. The performance sedan can hit 100km/h from a standstill in 2.9 seconds and reach speeds of up to 316km/h thanks to this powertrain.

It’s also worth noting that the 202bhp electric motor is paired with a 6.1kWh battery pack. This allows the new Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance sedan to drive for up to 12 kilometres in EV mode.

Other notable features of the new Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance sedan include an EV top speed of 130km/h, 4 levels of regenerative braking, and one pedal drive capability. In comparison to the Mercedes GT 63 S 4-Door Coupe, the new Mercedes AMG GT 63 S E Performance sedan has slightly revised front and rear bumpers, as well as new 20-inch front and 21-inch rear alloy wheels.
