2023 Mahindra XUV300 Update: New Powertrain added in the list

Mahindra has launched the XUV300 SUV with an updated powertrain, with prices ranging from Rs 8.41 lakh to Rs 14.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Mahindra XUV300 is now compliant with the upcoming BS6 Phase 2 emission norms, which are set to take effect next month, thanks to the updated powertrain. The updated Mahindra XUV300 also comes with two engine options.

The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, direct-injection, turbocharged engine that produces 109bhp and 200Nm of torque. The 1.5-litre diesel engine, on the other hand, produces 115bhp and 300Nm of torque.

Customers can also select between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed AMT transmission with both engine options. Furthermore, the updated Mahindra XUV300 is available in 14 different configurations.

However, the top-spec model includes dual-zone climate control, a large 7-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering modes, projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and much more.

In addition, the Mahindra XUV300 SUV remains one of the safest sub-4m SUVs available in India, with a 5-star safety rating for adult occupant protection from Global-NCAP and safety features like 6 airbags, corner braking control (CBC), ABS with EBD, Traction Control (TC), and more.

At the moment, the Mahindra XUV300 competes against Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Honda WR-V.
