The Jimny is also supported by a tough ladder-frame chassis.

Maruti is expected to price the Jimny around Rs 12 lakh, and it will go on sale in May 2023. While it will have no direct competitors at launch, Mahindra and Force are both working on 5-door versions of the Thar and Gurkha, respectively.
