Citroen has introduced the E-C3 electric car in India. The Citroen E-C3 starts at Rs 11.50 lakhs. The Citroen E-C3 is on sale at Citroen’s physical and digital showrooms across the country, as well as on the web.
The Citroen E-C3 is the company’s all-electric version of the C3 hatchback. The electric E-C3 is available in four different trim levels: Live, Feel, Feel Vibe Pack, and Feel Dual Tone Vibe Pack.
The Citroen eC3 is already on sale with booking amount of Rs 25,000 in 25 cities across India.

Citroen eC3 : Powertrain details
The Citroen eC3 gets a 29.2kWh battery pack, which powers the front axle-mounted electric motor that makes 57hp and 143Nm of peak torque. With this power, the eC3 is claimed to accelerate from 0-60 kph in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 107kph. The Citroen eC3 also comes with two driving modes, Eco and Standard, as well as regenerative braking.
The Citroen eC3 has an ARAI-claimed range of 320km, and it gets two charging options. The first is a DC fast charger capable of charging the battery pack from 10-80% in 57 minutes, and the second is a 3.3kW onboard AC charger capable of CCS2 fast charging.
The eC3 can also be charged using a home charger, and it takes 10.5 hours to charge from 10% to 100%.

The eC3 EV, like the ICE-powered C3, is available in two trim levels: Live and Feel. The features are similar to the petrol model, with a 10.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a four-speaker audio system, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat on the higher-spec Feel.
The MyCitroen Connect app adds connected car technology to the eC3. It has 35 smart features that allow you to check the charging status of the car, its location, driving behaviour, and the location of the nearest charging station. In terms of safety, it has dual airbags and ABS with EBD.
The battery pack is covered by a 7 year/1,40,000 km warranty from the French carmaker, the electric motor is covered by a 5 year/1,00,000 km warranty, and the actual electric hatchback is covered by a 3 year/1,25,000 km warranty. On the vehicle, electric motor, and battery, Citroen is providing a few choices for an extended warranty.
Competitors of Citroen eC3
The Tiago EV‘s competitor from the French automaker is the Citroen E-C3, however it costs considerably more than the Tata Motors model. We won’t know whether this presents a problem with clients until the sales figures start to come in.
