The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is identical to the 2022 model except for the new Spoked Wheels edition and new colours.

KTM’s ADV formula, based on the explosive 390 platform, has worked wonders. Since its inception as a high-speed tourer, it has been well received. But as a trail and off-road vehicle? Not at all. Aside from ergonomics, KTM didn’t provide enough off-road hardware to warrant the ADV moniker. The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure aims to change that. The Austrian manufacturer has revealed the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure.
KTM is updating its 390 Adventure to meet buyer trends ahead of the launch of the new-generation 390 platform. In terms of touring and mild trailing, it was a formidable machine. Customers who have been craving more off-road capable hardware can now rejoice with the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure.
What are the changes in KTM 390 Adventure 2023 model ?
Wire-spoke rims are the same size as alloy rims, but they are not tubeless.
For the 2023 model, there is a new colour option and a blacked-out treatment.
KTM is providing the one feature that was most requested. Rims with wire spokes. These rims perform better in off-road conditions than alloy wheels because they are better at absorbing and dissipating shock. Wire-spoke rims are available on off-road and retro motorcycles from manufacturers. These new wheels are available in a “Spoked Wheeled” edition as well as regular cast alloy models.
KTM did not specify whether these new wheels are tubeless or not in the press materials. Tubeless spoke wheels are typically found only on high-end off-road vehicles. The images of KTM wheels suggest that they may be compatible with tubeless tyres. KTM is using the same Continental TKC70 tyres that were previously used on alloy wheels.
These have block patterns and provide better traction in sticky situations. The wheels themselves are made of anodized black aluminium. With this change, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure lives up to its name. Except for new colorways, the rest of the motorcycle remains unchanged.
