Launch date of Maruti Jimmy

The Maruti Jimny is a hot topic on the internet. Many people have been anticipating this SUV for years. Although the Jimny 3-door was manufactured in India, it was only intended for export. The 5-door version is the official car for India, and Maruti Suzuki was the first to show it in India. The fiscal year 2023 begins in April of this year, which means Maruti will most likely launch the new Jimny between April and June of this year. Because Maruti has already revealed all of the details about the SUV, it is likely that the prices will be announced soon.

As previously stated, this is the first time the Suzuki Jimny has been offered in a 5-door configuration. Maruti Suzuki has made a number of changes to the car in order to present it as a proper 5-door vehicle. It is not simply a larger version of the 3-door model. Despite having a longer wheelbase than the 3-door version, it is still an extremely capable off-road SUV. Maruti Suzuki also offers the Jimny with a proper 4×4 system. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, like many other 4×4 SUVs, has a ladder-on frame. The SUV’s exterior design is similar to the three-door version. The 5-d00r version, on the other hand, has some chrome outlines on the front grille.

What features you will get in Maruti Jimmy ?

The SUV’s interior includes Maruti Suzuki’s new touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, fabric seats, cruise control, and a round instrument cluster with a digital MID in the centre. At the moment, this is Maruti’s only 4×4 SUV. The SUV has a length of 3,985mm, a width of 1,645mm, and a height of 1,720mm. It has 210 mm of ground clearance, which is adequate for off-roading. Jimny has an approach angle of 36 degrees, a ramp break-over angle of 24 degrees, and a departure angle of 50 degrees. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door is only available in petrol form. It has the same K15B engine as the 3-door model.

The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine in the K15B produces 103 Bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Jimny 5-door will be available in Pearl Arctic White, Kinetic Yellow, Granite Grey, Bluish Black, Sizzling Red, and Nexa Blue. Some of these shades are also available in dual-tone. The Maruti Jimny will compete with vehicles such as the Mahindra Thar, which is currently the most popular four-door SUV in the country.
