Indian auto market has celebrated this new year 2017 with launch of TATA HEXA and MARUTI SUZUKI Ignis but the market have still need some new adventure with new feature , style and improved performance. To meet market need and expectation, these upcoming car models will be launched this year.

1. Tata Kite5

Expected Launch :Mid-2017

Expected Price : Rs.4.5 lakh to 6 lakh

Tata Kite 5 is the new upcoming car after launch of HEXA, is a subcompact sedan shown in Auto Expo 2016 and have positive review for its design. The Kite 5 will have power from same 1.05 litre diesel and 1.2 litre petrol engine (3 cylinder). The model will be available  with both 5 speed manual gearbox and AMT as per timeline.

 

2. MARUTI SUZUKI Baleno RS 

 Expected Launch :Jan –Feb 2017

Expected Price : Rs. 9 Lakh to 11 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki is ready to launch new version of Baleno RS, presented at Auto Expo 2016, with new and sporty look in line with previously launched Baleno hatchback model. The RS version will come with much awaited 1.0 booster jet, direct injection and turbo petrol engine with capability of 112bhp power and 175 Nm peak torque.

 

3. Volkswagen Tiguan

Expected Launch :Jan –Mid2017

Expected Price : Rs 28 Lakh to 30 Lakh

With time by time Indian automotive market is emerging as a biggest automotive hub all across the world and most of the MNC’s are serious about their products to meet the Indian market needs. Volkswagen, a German Carmaker, has shown its seriousness with launch of POLO GTI and AMEO in India and now it is ready to enter into premium SUV segment with launch of new Tiguan SUV, which will be available in mid 2017 with 2.0 liter TDI diesel engine with 147 bhp.

4. Honda City Facelift

Expected Launch :Jan –Mid 2017

Expected Price : Rs 8 Lakh to 14 Lakh

With success of Honda City in India, Honda Car India will launch its most awaited facelift version of city in Mid 2017 to make a new competition sedan segment. The model will launched with new style and feature improvements with new grill, headlamp with LED daytime running light, new alloy wheels, paddle shifter, touch screen infotainment system etc. The model will be available with 1.5 liter petrol and diesel engine with 118 bhp and 98 bhp respectively.

5. TATA Nexon

Expected Launch :Jan –End 2017

Expected Price : Rs 6.5 Lakh to 10 Lakh

After launch of Hexa Model, Indian Automotive company Tata motors will be back this year with its awaited Nexon model, a subcompact SUV car which was presented in Auto Expo 2016, to compete with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra TUV300 etc. Its will be powered by 1.2 liter petrol and 1.3 liter diesel engine with 5 speed manual and AMT transmission unit.
